A few days ago i discovered something interesting, i was looking at an expiry date and for no particular reason i started playing with the numbers in my head.

if you have a date like 11th - 12 - 2009

you have 11, 12 and 2009 as integers

11+12+2009= 2032

if you follow the theorem that all digits for an integer when added up , end up being a single digit between 1 and 9

2032 will become 2+0+3+2 which equals 7

now again when you look at that date 11-12-2009

you can have an integer 11122009

which again with reference to the above theorem is equal to 1+1+1+2+2+0+0+9 = 16

and 16 = 1+6 = 7

so either way you get a single digit number 7

so you can try this out with any set of numbers you come across

If there is any mathematical genius out there , please let me know where this can be applied. i would be grateful
